Overview
Freediver - Level 2 takes place in open water with a bit of time in the "classroom". In the classroom, we'll go over more advanced freediving techniques, such as "head down equalization", belly breathing, and getting past the first 10 feet as efficiently as possible. Then you'll dive in open water. Here you'll practice your breath-up, and get adjusted to the new environment. And as always, we practice and review our safety protocol in open water allowing adjustment to the new environment. From there you will move on to free immersion, where you will practice "head down equalization" and work on your straight line decent. After you've mastered that, it's on to your constant weight dives. This is where it all starts to fall into place and you put it all together: equalization, an efficient entry, the arm sweep, kick cycle, mask equalization, and a proper turn around/level out for a smooth return for your recover breaths.
