Where are your classes held?

Level 1 classes are held at my house in Pflugerville, Tx or Dive World Austin

Level 2 Classes are held at Windy Point Dive Park on Lake Travis

Level 3 & Level 4 classes are private sessions only, email for more information.

What is the cost of your classes? 

PADI Basic Freediver Level 1 -  $225

This class is one full-day (8 hr session), which consists of a 4 hour morning session in a classroom setting followed by a 4 hour afternoon confined water (pool) session.

PADI Freediver Level 2 -  $225

This class is one full-day (6 - 8 hr session), which consists of 4 or more open water dive sessions

PADI advanced L3 & master L4 Freediver - email for Private lessons information

Is there a certification and if so, what is it?

Yes, you will be a certified PADI Freediver diver upon completion of this course, provided you complete all of the requirements set by PADI and checked off by your instructor. This includes an online KD (knowledge review) test, static attempt, dynamic swim and demonstrating proper buddy safety procedures and simulated rescue.

How Do I sign up for a class? 

Send an email to freedivingtexas@gmail.com to confirm your desired date is open. I will send you the registration and deposit information. After I receive your deposit your spot is held and you will receive a confirmation email from me and a code to unlock the online eLearning material from PADI

Do I need to be a good swimmer?

You do need to be relatively comfortable in water and be able to swim a minimum of 25yd without fins. 

Do I need to take all my classes together or back to back?

No, you can take the classes one at a time, or back to back.

I don’t have any equipment / gear, do you provide that?

I can supply gear for the Level 1 classes.

For level L2, gear can rented at Dive World Austin, you should have your own equipment for the Level 3 & Level 4 classes

I’ve already taken a beginner level course with another agency. Do I need to take your Level 1 class or can I skip it and move to L2?

I do accept crossover students, provided you can show proof of your previous diving experience and demonstrate in-person proper techniques and safety procedures for your present level.
